Alex Foster - called up
Alex Foster got called up, and will be playing for the Leafs tonight against Florida.
Good deal! I saw he had a goal for the Marlies the other night, hopefully his time in the NHL lasts awhile!

HE DIDNT HELP DO WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO!!!!! We brought foster, newberry, and these Marlies up so we could tank the rest of the season. They friggin won again! We arent making the playoffs this year so why not just lose em all and try to get Steven Stamkos. God it sucks to be a Leafs fan. When you need them to win they lose, when you need them to lose they win.
Anyway congrats to Alex on playing for Gods team.

Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.

A story I read said he was only called up as an emergency because Darcy Tucker was sick with a stomach flu. Apparently, Tucker was fine to play, so Alex sat.PegCityFalcon wrote:Oh I forgot, Foster has been called up, he skated at practice, but was a healthy scratch for the game.
I forget the numbers, but he's been on a tear in the AHL of late.
