I really don't think it's good for us to take such pleasure in WMU's misfortune. How soon we forget last year...

unless, of course, Toledo played hockey.

My problem with having to play WMU again: They have absolutely nothing to lose. They are a dangerous, dangerous team. And I don't mean the possibility of stealing a game or two come playoff time. I mean intent to injure. They've already proved that. Blatantly going after a player, then bragging to the media about it...I don't want to see them again this year. Not to mention the 3 overtime games.

I've thought the same thing about WMU in that respect. And especially if we were in a position to wrap up the series, who knows what they might pull that could lead to suspensions (or injuries) for our guys in the next round.

But in the end, I won't be picky with who we play, I think it's just kick-ass that we're hosting a first round series. Next year...a bye!

Should we play WMU in the first round, I would like to think that CCHA will remember what happened in the last series and keep the games under control. If we play WMU, I'd lay money that we'd have Shegos and two bouncers from downtown officiating that game. :smt062

Heck, maybe even Pi would come back for this one

In all seriousness though, I bet Shegos would be our ref.

Seriously? You give this league WAY too much credit. IF, BIG IF, they remember, they will try to control the game with so many penalties, we'll be lucky if the games are over by midnight.

I've been wondering about the situation if we draw WMU too. I'd love to see Chris Frank get his face knocked in. Punk has it coming...
