Any takers?

Bolstering my resume in support of 87's job offer, Ohio announced today they have a home game on 9/27 with VMI.Warthog wrote: OU has away games at Ohio State, Northwestern, and Wyoming, so I would suspect they will add a D-IAA home game.
Considering that was the position of the MAC last year or two years ago, to make November all weeknight games, and Thanksgiving coming "late" this year, I'm not touching that proposition.Rightupinthere wrote:I'm wagering on four weeknight games.TG1996 wrote:I've got no (or at least very little) problem with bending over backwards to get games on ESPN or ESPN2.... October 18 will be the first Preview Day (and either Varsity BG Day or Family Day).

RUIT, I think given the recent track record, vs Miami and at Toledo are good bets for national tv. Our game @ Boise could definitely draw attention too, but I'm not sure they'd put it on a weekday like three years ago. Beyond that, I don't see much. A third game is possible depending on who our random West Division opponent is. If its Ball State or Central Michigan, that could definitely be another national game. Obviously if its Northern Illinois, as projected, that probably wouldn't make it to ESPN tv unless they really start pushing the Huskies.Rightupinthere wrote:I'm wagering on four weeknight games.TG1996 wrote:I've got no (or at least very little) problem with bending over backwards to get games on ESPN or ESPN2.... Well, wasn't BG at EMU on ESPNU last year? Who'd seen that one coming based off of 2006 results of both teams ... so anything is possible ...bgsufalcon24 wrote:

ESPNU doesn't count as far as I'm concerned.MarkL wrote:Well, wasn't BG at EMU on ESPNU last year? Who'd seen that one coming based off of 2006 results of both teams ... so anything is possible ...bgsufalcon24 wrote:

That's just because you don't (I presume) have it. Sucka.bgsufalcon24 wrote:ESPNU doesn't count as far as I'm concerned.MarkL wrote:Well, wasn't BG at EMU on ESPNU last year? Who'd seen that one coming based off of 2006 results of both teams ... so anything is possible ...bgsufalcon24 wrote:

I didn't use to count ESPNU, but then Time Warner finally got so to me it does count.bgmaggot00 wrote:That's just because you don't (I presume) have it. For those of us who live nowhere near BG, ESPNU games most definately count for something.
