To be honest, that game tonight made me laugh out loud. I wasn't mad, stunned, or infuriated. Laughter wa the only reaction I could muster. I had a 2 minute giggle fit. It's funny, simple as that. Is that wrong for me to say? Does this make me one of those "bad fans"? We lost 50-96 to Buffalo after looking great beating a top 25 team. What else can one do but laugh and move on.

Coach O's postgame comments

Might to be a good idea to keep sharp objects away from the coach tonight.

He was really at a loss for words. Or as he said "not much else to say."

Who said coaching was easy -)

Pretty much my reaction as well. You just have to sit back and laugh. We played awful and Buffalo played well. We couldn't hit the broadside of a barn and they shot very well.

From the sounds of things we were in disarray all night, and we didn't bring much intensity to the table either. We were getting killed on the boards, which surprised me because we beat them up in the paint at Anderson. Oh well, what can you do? I had a feeling we'd lose last night after the big win Saturday. The schizo in this team made a down game nearly a lock, but boy did we outdo ourselves in that regard :)

I agree as well. Instead of freaking out, let's just lick our wounds and move forward. It's not like it's unheard of in sports that 18-22 year old kids would have a letdown game.

I think this is par for the course as a BG fan and I am not sure why.

Football team did it at the end of the season, the basketball team did it earlier v Akron, I am sure if I had any interest in Hockey they probably do it...we are consistently inconsistent. Except for Curt Miller and the Girls Basketball team!

96 to 50? Are you effing kidding me? Geeze...all of our teams (save the women's bball team) are Jekyll and Hyde. I know I said it about the Hockey team before and I'm sure it's been said sometime about the football team, but, geeze, 96 to 50...that's awful.

Even our incomparable womens basketball team went through a tough stretch that included two home conference losses. Losses are a part of sports with any team at any level...we just happen to occasionally do it with more panache :-)

Not to mention a 21 pt loss at Ball State...which was unbelievable.

I didn't know the outcome util I opened today's paper...and I was stunned. Eh, move on. We blast Kent for 89 points and last night they held Miami to 39...go figure.

You think the players are happy Dakich isn't around, because I'm sure after they arrived back at BG they would have been running baselines until dawn.

i drove (along with 4 others) the 5 1/2 hours to see this game from BG. It is not what i wanted to see. Then the inches of ice on our car when we left the game, wasn't a great evening. I am glad we went though, besides us 5, there was maybe 5-10 other BG fans.

When walked into the Arena when the gates opened and the team was warming up. They looked at us and seemed very happy we were there. Madlock even gave us a wave. Then one of the coaches gave us thumbs us. So it was sweet to know we were appreciated for being there.

But I will continue to support the guys no matter how they play. Just would make cheering more fun if we had something to cheer for!

Great to hear, FMBfan07. You guys log of ton of miles to support all the BG teams and that's what it's all about.

Some nights you're the windshield and some nights you're the bug...and Tues night we were the bug. LOL

This team is still a dangerous team to play when the tourney comes along....

You are probably right, but with Kent's RPI, I would hope we could get an at large if Kent doesn't win the tourney.
