Agreed Flip, however, if you look at the rest of our players, I think they fit the mold of a 3-4 defense a little better. Again, this wasn't my thinking, but Option mentioned it and had me thinking. A lot of our DTs could play DE for a 3-4 which likes a larger DE, and I think some of our DEs would fit the mold of a 3-4 OLB who could rush the passer. I agree with 1987 though re: asking our CBs to cover one-on-one. I have said all season that I think our defensive philosophies put our players in a position to fail rather than succeed way too often. Again, these are just my observations, and with our defensive struggles I think its fair to ask why.
