No agenda from me here,ZiggyZoomba wrote:Yeah yeah... good for them.
I was just looking at a recruiting site and realized I had not checked up on these guys lately. Looks like all had success.
Austin and Scott are the only ones who really could have helped us.
Lionell and Reggie we hardly knew.
Everyone else is playing D2 or 3

Chris Hobson may have ended up at a D2 or D3 school, but I really liked his game in the limited action that he got at BG. I think he could have ended up being a good contributor here. I am glad to see that he had a productive year at St. Francis.Globetrotter wrote:Everyone else is playing D2 or 3

He was the best defensive guard we've had in the past 10 years, IMO.BGGrad01 wrote:Chris Hobson may have ended up at a D2 or D3 school, but I really liked his game in the limited action that he got at BG. Agreed. Hobson was tougher than hell. He could've been a great one here. Losing him really bothered me. He couldn't get off of DD's bench. That was when I really started losing it for DD.BGGrad01 wrote:Chris Hobson may have ended up at a D2 or D3 school, but I really liked his game in the limited action that he got at BG. As much as I hate seeing this list of names (it’s a team in itself!), it’s very interesting to see what these guys are doing now. But like it or not, sadly, this list of names is a part of our recent history at BG. The last five years or so, we have been hit with a massive number of defections coupled with multiple losing seasons. Add to that list names such as talented players like Ron Lewis and Steven Wright, and you have a big reason why we have constantly been spinning our wheels in the basement of the MAC trying to rebuild, without ever having a chance to reload. Until we start retaining and matriculating players, we’ll never buck this dubious trend we’ve all come to hate. It’s just sad how our Senior Days in recent years are overshadowed by the defections leading up to them. Anymore it seems like some of our recent honorees have either been JUCO’s who made it through two years, and we couldn’t even make that a reality this year. At least there was a manager to honor this year.
GO BG!!!

Dusan i think is still enrolled at BG getting his degree. I was thinking about this today. What if he had stuck around? Even just playing the spare minutes that Cammie got that helps this team down the road because then Cammie does not need to play those minutes and doesnt need to burn that redshirt. Cammie and he are different players but still.cowboyjoe wrote:Where is Duson and Guerin? Just kidding...don't care!
Guerin was a walk on for gosh sakes. Making fun of walk ons, especially ones as productive as Guerin despite his limitation, seems to be pretty stupid.
