Darion Anderson from Nothern Illinois wins the 2007-08 Freshman of the Year Award. Congrats. But hey I don't care Chris Knight is still the best freshman in the conference. Don't why the media association did not see that

Anderson had that edge on Knight statistically. However, Anderson played for a much worse team. This was a close one.

I guess you can say I'm a little biased because he is from my hometown. But considering what this team has been through and him playing out of position and logging heavy minutes because of a depleted rotation. I think he still deserved it. Hopefully he can use this as motivation over the summer and make first team next season.
