Screw that...rational discussion never solves anything. These people should be mocked...mocked and punched in the neck....Liberal Studies...WTF? I sense that the most useful skill that kid could develop is the ability to say "That normally comes with fries...you can substitute a cup of soup for an extra $1.00 though"

+1000. F that kid. I can't believe the idiotic responses from a couple of those people. Talk about having NO clue at all...hammb wrote:I seriously hope that kid never graduates. I'd hate to see his name dirtied by having a BGSU agree to it. Yeah, the university is such a joke...gimme a break kid.
These people should never be allowed to step foot in the Stroh Center.
The OSU reference...gotta be Tekeini or whatever the hell his name is.

OK, I'll give you that. Being a liberal studies major is the single biggest cop-out known to the human race. Its called being undecided to the rest of the world. I don't think much of such degrees being given, and used to mock them in a major way, as they were run by that other school in NW Ohio.Flipper wrote:Screw that...rational discussion never solves anything. Liberal Studies does make the decision to pursue an MBA much easier.Flipper wrote:.Liberal Studies...WTF? I sense that the most useful skill that kid could develop is the ability to say "That normally comes with fries...you can substitute a cup of soup for an extra $1.00 though"

Let me take a crack at it BO. I think a certain someone we all know and love majored in the aforementioned liberal studies and quickly discovered that in the real world it qualified him to be...a liberal studies major, hence, inspiring the notion of securing the MBA that might be a tad more marketable. But I'm just guessing. RUIT?

Thanks- don't follow the ladies like I should but I don't see us going much further- maybe Sweet Sixteen at best-Radioactive Falcon wrote:Since this thread is highjacked from the forum anyways, I'd just like to say congrats to you h2o for the win in the ladies tourney.. perhaps you'll even get one more before getting shut down.
As far as topic at hand it seems almost like someone with a lung condition complaining because the Heart Association got a big donation. Interestingly I thought of Teke when I read that as well but he ended up sort of being better behaved lately so maybe not. Same kind of mind set.

During my heady undergrad days, '86-89 we had meal coupon books with little tickets you used instead of money and you could use the fall book for a month into the spring semester.
What is the rollover she is talking about? I reckon these uppity kids nowadays have a debit-type card and if there's a balance after fall, they can't use it in the spring. Is that right?
If that's the case, that does stink out loud, but it has nothing at all to do with funding the Stroh center.

Good column Terry, though personally I would've added something about the university's plan for upgrading everything for those people who think that everything EXCEPT Anderson Arena is falling apart. But that's just me.Peregrinner wrote:My letter
