I believe it will reach its height around Dec. 21. I prescribe a trip to a warmer climate, perhaps watching a live sporting event.

'87,

I'm exhausting all possibilities but I have to say it doesn't look good at all.

Freak:

I hear that there's a pair of folks from Philly that booked an efficiency (to cut on food costs) that's pretty spacious. Perhaps you could freeload and cut your costs...

OK, since my alma mater doesn't think its important enough, are there any charter flights being arranged through Memphis? Maybe some of us can piggy-back on their flights, combine some resources. They are southerners, friendly folks. The flight home might suck for some of us, but hey....

Someone might want to check into Hooters Air. It flies out of Columbus Rickenbacker into Florida. Not sure you close to Mobile you would get... but would you care?

Best deal for me so far is out of Toledo to Pensacola (55 miles from Mobile) for $333 on Wednesday morning. I don't see my firm being too excited about me taking the 22nd and 23rd off, though, and chances of me watching in person are quite slim.

1987 -- where did you get the $200 price from Detroit to NO?

There is still a chance that they will put together some type of charter. I know they priced busses and it would have been $250/per person to BUS!
I am sure there will be more information coming, so in the meantime..................BUY TICKETS!!!

If the charter would become a reality, when would it leave? Tuesday morning or afternoon?

BGGrad01:

go to southwest.com ... i tried several scenarios from cleveland and detroit and it looked like less than $225 was very realistic.
