Looks like they did. That's the fewest points scored in a half in the tournament in 69 years. The previous record holder? The OSU Suckeyes. At least the record stays in the state of Ohio.

At least they made it respectable at the end. 71-58 final. This shouldn't exactly help Jim Christian's chances for the Providence job.

And it figures, I picked the Flashes to win this one in my bracket. First loss of the day. Anyone else make the same mistake I did?

I picked Kent as well. I also picked Temple to beat MSU due to the 5-12 seeding deal...didn't happen. Everything else is still good for me...

+1. Just to be in the Dance would be great....at least once in my lifetime and no, 1968 doesn't count. I was a month old then.

Yeah, I just want to see a bracket with BG in it. That will be awesome. Coach Orr will be the man to do it.

Winthrop tried its hardest to break that new Kent record, but managed to score 11 in the 2nd half

Yep, I had Kent too. I also had George Mason, and I picked them to move into the Sweet Sixteen. Those were my only two losses on Day 1.

I missed on Kent State, Kentucky and Winthrop. All three I figured at some point I probably shouldn't have picked them, but I figured Kentucky would wake up and at least win one, Kent State just out of MAC pride and not knowing much about UNLV, and Winthrop because...because.

My four first day losses were Temple, Kent State, USC and George Mason.

I have WVU going to the sweet sixteen. I would have felt better if Duke would have lossed to Belmont.

Day 2 upsets, I need Davidson and Siena. I would be happy if one of those happens.
