As promised I was able to dig up more info. Here's a more recent article on McGowan.

At only 5'4 she doesn't have the size our more recent guards have had but she's apparently extremely quick has excellent ball handling skills , can shoot the 3 well. Appears to be a natural floor general as well. Again, nice pickup Coach Miller. :)

McGowan was named to the Free Press' Class B All State Team on Sunday. Here's the link.

The article explains some of the reasons why she may not have been signed earlier. Sounds like she may be another great find.

That link is rather old and was in the original post on McGowan, thanks though. :wink: I haven't been able to dig up much yet on Slagle and Giese.

I think Giese was hurt a major portion of the year so there will probably not be much available that is current.
