Frozen four - Michigan, Colorado College, Miami, North Dakota
I really think its going to come down to the Wolverines and the Redhawks for the championship. The WCHA teams are good, but I just think that the top of the CCHA is better this season.

Sparty clearly out played CC tonight as expected. the first period was like sparty hockey, they just seemed to be feeling them out, then they juiced CC in the 2nd and played shut down inthe third.
J L played big tonight, with any less of netminder and CC would have won this game.
As for the final tomorrow night, im picking the Irish, as they are playing better hockey.

I have to agree this is their best chance to win one, to date. I will also forewarn everyone....get used to seeing them alot they have a serious pipeline right now and i look out and see them floating around the top 4 CCHA teams and being NCAA contenders in to the future. the are really establishing themselves im interested in watching their recruiting over the next three years and where their players are being drawn from.ffejfalcon wrote:Not that I really give a crap about the miami redskinhawks, this is their best chance ever to go deep into the tourney. Go CCHA!!
I def. agree as well. Despite the fact that I can't stand Miami, I think that they will be a top 4 CCHA team for years to come. Enrico Blasi really seems to be building something there. The only thing that I think will hurt them is the fact that they're in southern Ohio. The top kids from major hockey states such as Minnesota and Michigan seem to stay in state (guys like Blake Wheeler, Erik Johnson, Kevin Porter, T.J. Hensick) . With that being said, they're doing alright by getting top Ohio kids such as Carter Camper and Nathan Davis and I'm sure they'll continue to get good recruits from other states and Canada due to their recent success. Also, the fact that they have an excellent state of the art arena will obviously help recruiting as well, regardless of where the players are coming from. I found a really good video that talks about how the program has developed in the past couple decades as well as the "brotherhood" of players that they have developed.MACMAN wrote:I have to agree this is their best chance to win one, to date. I think the reason for Miami's success is their facilities. They barn is top notch as is their training facility. As long as no one else builds an arena that is as good as Miami's expect them to be a top 10 team.
Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.
Markell had a down year, and I don't see that continuing next year. I do pull for him to succeed because he is one of our guys, I just hope he doesn't succeed in those 2 times/year we see each other.

While little candy ass johnnie Markel is POS trader coaching for the suck eyes....your right he is one of our own...except in season. that said your right, OSU was down this year, dont expect to see that next year.
As for the redskins...man they they are facing a very hot AF goalie...and my lord can they miss the open more often in one period!.
tied up at 2 now...Miami needs to put them away!
