Alabama has declined an Independence Bowl bid and will play in Music City Bowl unless Tennessee beats Auburn. Then the SEC teams will move up a notch. Look for Troy to go to Shreveport.

That's a nice fit for Troy. Glad to see they'll be in a bowl. They earned it.

Well I guess that's what I get for quoting Norm Wamer! Looks like his "inside" MAC sources were weren't that far off.

The future Mrs. Option was in a class this morning with a football player and the prof asked "What bowl" are we going to?"

The football player replied well it's looking like Hawaii, Boise or somewhere in Texas.

The prof says "What about the GMAC?"

He replied "No, everyone says they already got NIU"
