Anyone Thinking of Road Trippin' ?

Sizing up flights and such. Was wondering if anyone else from NW Ohio was considering driving?

We have 2-3 of us that driving is one option. Still looking at others, and hop[ing BG puts some sort of package together.

I'm considering it. I'm even pricing minivans and wondering if rotating drivers and packing the thing might not be more doable.

Just not sure yet.

I have been told that the University/Athletic Department does not want the risk of chartering a flight so that avenue is very doubtful. Would be nice if they could at least hook up some sort of package deal though.

900+ miles - my Streets and Trips calculates about 14 hours from Tiffin. Don't know yet if I'm flying or driving.

I'm debating it (from Indy), but I work until 11:30 the night before, so I'd have to leave right after work, pretty much if I drove. It would be awesome to get there, but on the other hand, I'll be doing Christmas in NWO, so I might just work on forming a "BG Watch party" somewhere in BG. *shrug*

Although I *do* have a few sick days and a personal day left... Hmmm...

Driving would be the only way I'd consider doing it. I may already be in Athens Tuesday night for a Christmas party so that would give me a head start. Flying is out though.

I was going to make the drive (a co-worker went to school in Pensacola, he says it 12-13 hours tops to Moibile) but there is just no way I can get away from work. :x

Driving is going to be a pain in the back side (literally), but it should be alot cheaper. My only concern is the weather in late December -- we could be driving through a blizzard for 5 hours. We have a ride set up, now I just have to decide if it's worth sitting in a car for 28 hours and if I can get out of work.

I'm considering driving out of Lexington. Mapquest says it will take just over ten hours. Not sure yet.

I'm almost for sure road trippin it. Me and a buddy did it to Oklahoma, so I think we could do it again to Mobile. But there would probably be a couple more people going with us this time.

I can't wait!!

One of the guys who sets near us talked about loading up a mini-van and driving down. I would be willing to do that and share the driving. Flying might not be an option for Michelle and I but we'd really like to be there to cheer our Falcons on.

Freak -- How about me, you, Michelle, Mrs. Freak, Denny, and Bob Dupont making that trek down! I will be watching for deals on this one. I am certain that Michelle and I can get the couple days off work to pull this off. I'll have to see what we can do about the $$$! We can find a way! Maybe the Falcon Club can set up a bus trip or something.
