I didn't have time to respond, but I voted yesterday for Stone Ridge, simply because $35 is a phenomenal price for that caliber of course. Plus, I figure this early in the season it will be in much better condition than Riverby based on my past experiences there. But, I'm not averse to playing Riverby, either, if that is what people want to do. I see there is a vote for Fallen Timbers now, too. I'm not familiar at all with that course, but it might be interesting, too, if people want to do something different.

No matter what, this should be a lot of fun, and I'm really looking forward to it. Time to hit the range, too. If I don't, this won't be pretty...

Supposed to be pretty decent this weekend. I'm planning to find my way to the driving range somehow this weekend.

FWIW, I never took my clubs out of the trunk all winter.

I'm in the same boat. Clubs have been in the trunk all winter, and I only got out twice all last season because of the move. This will be wonderfully ugly.

I guess I should add that the tee time will directly determine if I can play. I work on the weekends until 2:00 in the afternoon, so I would need to get home, change, get my clubs, and get to the course. So, 2:00 won't work, and closer to 3:00 would be better. If that means Stone Ridge is a better option because it's closer, then that's fine with me.

I think that would mean Riverby would work better for you. Stone Ridge has another group at 3:30. He told me we'd need to start our tee times around 2:30 if we were to go there.

Well it looks like Riverby is the choice here. Should I leave it open until tomorrow or call for some tee times to get us locked in?

If there's room, or if you're looking to firm up some numbers, I'm a definite go now, and I think my dad wants to play as well. I think he's going to the spring game with me for awhile.

Alright guys. Tee times are set. The rate will be $25 with a cart. We've got 5 consecutive tee times 3:00, 3:07, 3:15, 3:22, and 3:30. We should be able to get everybody through 18 by dark this way, and it should be a good time.

I don't know if there's anybody in the group that has not played Riverby but it's a nice course. It is not maintained to the same level as Stone Ridge or other fancy courses, but the layout is very fun. The back 9 has as many elevation changes as you'll find in Northwest Ohio. All we need now is some sunny warm weather and we should be all set for a great day of Falcon football and golf.

We'll want to get a definite count, as soon as possible, just to make sure we're not going to go over 20. If it looks like we need more, we should be able to add another tee time or two onto this if we give them some notice.

Sounds good. And thanks for making the calls for me, too.

And BO.. these times are Mountain Daylight time, so you're really teeing off at 10 a.m. local. Sorry you'll miss the spring game. :-D
