Well, Ryan Autullo likes what he has seen from the defence. That will do for me. If the defence fails, it will not be necessary to blame anybody on this board, even the coaches. It will be Ryan's fault.

Jacob Hardwick is not nearly big enough to play defensive tackle!!

It is good to hear that the defense has been impressive this spring. The offense will be there this fall. A solid defense will bring us a championship.

Has CP always had injury problems? Or is the body just not able to take the abuse at a D-1 NCAA level?

I saw CP last night...he told me he's good to go this season. I'm not worried...

That would be GREAT news to say the least. I hope whatever the injury is that it's just minor then. Aside from him being a big asset to the team, I would love to see him get through this his final year as healthy as possible, especially all that he's gone through thus far.

I'll take Ryan's word for it on the defense..after all, he ended the jinx Maureen Fulton put on the men's programs when she covered the Falcons (prior to her demotion to the UT beat)
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Spot on...we'll be fine n offense and I think our D will be solid. Maybe not spectacular, but solid.

Looking forward to getting to BG Saturday.

CPs injury is not very serious, I think they are just being cautious with him. It happened on a touchdown pass that he caught and landed on his knee awkwardly.

Thanks GB.....

No really thanks. I can't wait to see how our opposing rb's torch our run defense.

"OUTSIDE IN: Jacob Hardwick, who registered 4.5 sacks in 2007, has moved from defensive end to tackle where he and Michael Ream are the starters as of now. Diyral Briggs and Angelo Magnone are atop the depth"

Our biggest and strongest run stuffing DE and we move him to DT , I really shouldn't be surprised at this anymore. I should just learn to accept that mediocrity from our run d will be the norm at least while GB is the coach.

At least wait until the spring game before getting down. Magnone must be having a nice spring.

If he's our biggest and strongest run stuffing DE, he will get better opportunities to stop the run at DT and let the speed of the DEs get to the QB. Our DTs are known for getting pushed all around, so maybe having his size in the middle would be a good thing.
