BG baseball falls in game three of Ball State series, 9-7

Well, we didn't get the sweep, but we did win the series, and that was big. BG's loss coupled with Ohio's win puts the Falcons (6-3) and Bobcats (8-4) atop the MAC East standings. Also, don't look now, but here comes Kent State. After starting out 0-5 in the MAC, Kent State has won four in a row in the conference and we're hosting them next weekend.

Boy, what a difference a year makes. Two transfer pitchers doesn't hurt either. Seems like the MAC may be down overall a bit this year, especially pitching. Go BG --- beat Kent!
