Have you been there recently? I was there about 4 years ago and the place was totally different from what I remember. It was like eating at a low budget taco bell.

CapFalc,

I gotta agree 100% with Five Guys Burgers and Fries...good stuff...they put one in Avon recently and I had my first experience at the one in Alexandria as well. I have a buddy that works for the Ritz in Tyson's Corners as a concierge so when I went to visit him he showed me the ropes and then took me for dinner at Capital Grille which was comped...best free Filet Mignon ever.

Yeah, it's definitely changed over the years. It's nowhere near as rowdy as it used to be; it's got more of a family atmosphere. The food, like i said, is average, but the margaritas more than make up for that. I'll go elsewhere for mexican food, but when I'm in the mood for margaritas, I'll never go to some place where I pay $6 for some huge class of sweet n sour mix with a splash of tequilla in it.

Wear shoes with good tread. 've been there five times- four of them someone has fallen on the slick wooden floor. My wife was one. Food is worth it though.

I started thinking about restaurants from areas I used to live

It has been about 12-15 years, but when my dad lived in Northeast, Pennsylvania, we used to cross the state line to Clymer, New York to the French Creek Tavern. Excellent Buffalo Wings.

I lived in Boardman for three years after BG, there was a place in Youngstown called The Elmton. Their pizza was awesome. Y'town had a lot of mom and pop type italian restaurants that were good.

They have already been mentioned, however, I was in BG today so I picked up Pollyeye's chicken breadsticks to go for dinner tonight and had a Myles personal pizza for lunch. Go ahead and hate me.

Findlay has a Jed's now. That makes me say Yes!

And, they have new balls, too.

Porky's Pizza Trof in Weston (also Oak Harbor and soon to be Maumee).

Good food, good booze, and good looking waitresses.

Best pizza in Toledo used to be Angelo's on Stickney Ave. Total dive, scary neighborhood, get take out and run.

VERY sad day when they closed about 10-15 years ago. Even more so, since my dad built the interiors.
