Congrats to Coach York and BC as they await the winner of the CCHA half of the bracket to wrap up in OT.

Have we had the discussion that one of the Hanson Brothers' kids plays for ND? I'm sure we have, but the kid just got hurt, they showed his dad, and I said "Hell, that guy looks like a Hanson!"

BG needs to get back to one of these games sometime...

What an ending to the Michigan vs. ND game. I'd have felt pretty bad for Jordan Pearce if Michigan had won in OT after that bad tieing goal. I don't know who to cheer for in the finals, a team coached by a former BG guy or the CCHA team. I guess I'll go with Notre Dame since they're the cinderella.

I was all about keeping it in the CCHA, but I just can't go for Notre Dame... I just can't. Go BC.

Go BC. Can't cheer for the Irish and I've gotta pull for the BG bloodlines.

MAn Oh Man North Dakota just sucked, they were in that for a total of what 2 min. i have to say I was happy to see Notre Dame come out and play. the time off...man I and i think most everyone figured would hurt them. MI did the right thing pulling Sauer, he was abysmal, totally off his game.
Not at all what any one predicted. im a big York fan and i have a little love for the Eagles. but not enough to override the CCHA, and a team like this ND squad. Breaking all the sports rules...like last seed making the show, now in the finals...and all while never have won it, let alone been there. this would be a great victory for ND and it would surely bolster their new arena efforts, and team stability.
For those reason and pure toughness exhibited Hansen Im backing Notre Dame. Go Irish!

I think its fitting that North Dakota got thier asses pounded by BC, the fricking WCHA was way, way, way over rated this year, esp by the selection committee. Way to much representation from a below avg conference...now next year they will likely over compensate in another direction.

Hopefully it will not be to lopsided.

What he said! Congrats, Jerry!! Does that make him a National Championship Hat Trick Coach? :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I sorta wanted ND to win but I guess I can't be disappointed that BC won. Gerbe was insane, I just looked and he either had the primary assist or scored the goal on 8 of BC's 10 goals in both games. 8 pts. in 2 games is ridiculous.

the only thing disapointing about the game was the poor (wrong) call on the no goal for ND...he kicked at it and missed by a mile...the game still would have gone to BC most likely but that was just wrong.
