* Official Spring Game Golf Outing Thread *
It's now looking like I may be no. I might have to work around 4p. This sucks since I'm planning on a good deal of grilling and drinking.

Yeah, we'd likely need a raft to play there.Metz wrote:I wouldn't even include Tanglewood. While it's a bit above creason in my book, it's probably underwater still.
No matter, Riverby apparently won the voting, so I made the tee times there. I'm curious how some of the lower areas there will be as well. There were people playing Creason the other day and it looked like there were new water hazards in spots...

The 10-day forecast @ weather.com says next Saturday will be Mostly Sunny with a high of 60. Let's hope that stays consistent with temperatures rising into the mid to high 60's.
Presently - Nicholas and I are still in and planning to attend the Spring game also.
Not to be a hoser, but could Nicholas and I get the early tee time. We have a 2 hour plus trip home after golf. So depending on our finish time, we might need to scoot sooner than later.

I'll play whenever. I'll probably just meet everybody there, unless you plan on leaving the spring game around 2:30ish, in which case I'll meet everybody at the spring game and travel to the course as a group, or something like that. I'm sure the details will be worked out in a couple of days, but I figured I'd just toss that out there.

Forecast now says cloudy, mid-60s, 30% chance of rain. It is supposed to be warm and sunny all week though, so at least the course should dry out a bit.hammb wrote:Hopefully that forecast holds true...today is just awful outside.
I figured we'd just work out who played when next week, but I see no reason why we couldn't concede you the first tee time

I think it'd be great. Until the temp dipped below 60 and they all put sweaters on.Warthog wrote:Can't believe no one wants to go in on one of those babes from caddychicks.com/
Besides, I'm terrified to see what the Tontogany branch of caddychicks.com looks like. *shudder*

This is actually the first time that I've gotten that particular banner ad in this thread.TG1996 wrote:I think it'd be great. Until the temp dipped below 60 and they all put sweaters on.Warthog wrote:Can't believe no one wants to go in on one of those babes from caddychicks.com/![]()

I'm with TG...not sure the pOtsego branch would really offer up much worth paying for
Early weather forecast looks like it'll, at the very least, be better than this past weekend. Supposed to be sunny and dry most of the week. Temperature appears to be in the 70's for a lot of the week. They're calling for 60's on Saturday, but if it stays sunny that should be fine. I just hope that it stays dry this week and dries up the course a bit. Plus I need to hit the driving range at some point this week as well!

The early tee time would work out well for me, too, since I'm in your foursome and I, too, have a two hour drive home. I wouldn't mind teeing off later, but if it is possible and not inconvenient for anyone else, it'd be great! I was hoping to stay the night to join in the post-game festivities, but I don't think the finances will allow for that...unless my tax return gets here in record time.Tech83 wrote:The 10-day forecast @ weather.com says next Saturday will be Mostly Sunny with a high of 60. Now the weekend forecast is Showers and 60. #$%@#Tech83 wrote:The 10-day forecast @ weather.com says next Saturday will be Mostly Sunny with a high of 60. Let's hope that stays consistent with temperatures rising into the mid to high 60's.
Mrs. Tech was kind enough to give me a fierce headcold..... haven't slept well for two nights. I don't get sick too often..... this sucks..... and I don't get to stay home when I am sick.
I certainly am not interested in travel 2 1/2 hours to play golf in the rain at the tail end of a head cold. Not a wise move............
So presently - we are day-to-day. I am heavy on the 44D and Tylenol Cold - I am trying to bust this thing over the next day or so.
