Try some Midol.

So, what does our "official" head count look like for Saturday? I'm in with my old man. That's 2.

I'm still in. I walked 9 today and was pleasantly surprised that I still remember how to golf. My short game was predictably atrocious, but it always is the first few times out. I still ended up with a 42, which I'll definitely take for the first time out.

If the forecast does not include rain - (and I feel better) I am thinking we will make the trip.

Add 1 for me! I'll be coming straight from work, but I'll be there. I think I'll just meet everybody there. By the way, if for some reason plans change, or if we're all meeting at the spring game before leaving, or something, please give me a call. My phone number is 419-601-0934. My name is Jeremy (for those of you who didn't remember that). Thanks! Definitely looking forward to playing this weekend, and by hearing these scores, I may be the anchor of the group, and by anchor I don't mean the fastest leg.

That didn't work...... I still feel bloated, crampy, and irritable.

Weather forecast is now 60% chance of rain and 65 degrees.

Nicholas was not happy when I mentioned about not coming up. However, he did agree he didn't want to drive 2 1/2 hours and not even get to play due to rain.

So - I blame Hammb for picking this Saturday for the golf outing. :-D

Hammb - I will say this...... even if we don't make it this weekend. Nicholas and I will get ahold of you for some golf this summer. Maybe we can plan something when the weather is more predictable and less Bowling Green-like. We can even invite anyone else interested in getting together. I guess that would include BO and TG.

Nicholas really wants to play the University Course. So I know we will be going up sometime this summer. (Is Poe Ditch still the water hazard?)

Tech if you don't make it up, I don't blame ya. I picked the day because it was a day that I figured we'd have a lot of Azz.com people driving to BG from various places and would make a good time to get together. Besides, we've had great weather for the spring game the last 4-5 years or so.

I'm in, of course, and my buddy John who usually tailgates with us is planning on playing as well.

So that gives us 6 solid commits.

FWIW, accuweather.com is predicting 61* and a "passing shower". They show clouds for most of the day, but slight chances of rain here & there. We might stay completely dry :)

I'm in, too. Unlike some others around here, I don't melt when it rains.

Hit the range for the first time today. Didn't hit the ball too badly, but didn't hit it well either. Bad news is after taking softball BP & hitting a bucket at the range, I'll probably be sore for another week :)

I went out today for a second round, and improved from a 54 on my last nine to a 44 today. If the trend remains the same, none of you stand a chance!

I'm going to be interested to see how my knee holds up over 18 holes. It doesn't feel to bad after today's round, and definately better than after the last. I really hope I get over my swing totally eluding me for a few holes mid-round, though. That is truly annoying.

I'm sure. I don't get it, though. My swing feels no different, but somewhere around the sixth hole, in both rounds that I have played, I have started hitting everything short and straight to the left. As many of you know, I hate the left ( ), so the situation is doubly annoying. Everything comes back a hole or two later, and I don't feel like I'm changing anything. I must be leaving the face open at impact, but I've yet to figure out what the specific problem is.

Hopefully my loathe for J4H will be enough motivation to overcome the problem. I still blame him for the debacle that our venture into intramural golf turned into, even though the casual observer would have thought that it was my suckitude that was our downfall. Such sophomoric simpletons casual observers are.

1 more day! Don't get too mad if I duff 2 or 3 of the holes on the course, but I usually hit bogey or double on most holes, with a par every so often, but there is always those 3 holes where I shoot +4 or +5 because of a mistake or two.

Don't worry about your score :)

I touched a club for the first time in 6-7 months yesterday and it wasn't too pretty. I hit a few good shots, but when I tried chipping & putting it was brutal. I'm sure I'll be duffing a few here & there as well.

I just hope the weather holds up. Accuweather is saying 67 with a passing shower. Looking at their hourly forecast there is a slight chance of rain, but it looks like we're not going to get much rain no matter what. At worst, it looks like the type of rain that can easily be waited out.
