To be fair, when I have seen other team's coaches walking around campus with a recruit its usually been assistants

From what I know of college hockey (admittedly not as much as some) it is the assistant coach's job to do the recruiting. Everybody always talked about what a great recruiter Terry Flanagan was. When Doc DelCastillo got hired at UA the main thing people said about him was what a great recruiter he was as an assistant at UNO.

Just because the players like Todd Reirdon doesn't mean that he should be the head coach. Paluch has to make tough decisions that impact playing time and obviously some people are not going to be very happy about it. I do think Todd will make a very good head coach at some point, but to say he should take over is just not a smart comment to make.

As far as next season goes, I look for them to be in and around the middle of the pack again, hopefully in the mix for the tournament.

Did I ever say that I thought Reirden should be the head coach? Just that I thought that the players liked him and that it would be "interesting" to see him as coach.
