Softball takes game 2!

Softball downed the Scuds with a 1-0 game 2 victory today. Scoreless until the 7th. DJ DeLong scored the winning run on a Sontag double and then had a 3-assist bottom of the 7th to seal the win.
Way to go BG!

EXCELLENT!! BG is keeping pace with Kent in the East. The Falcons hit the road for 2 against Ohio Friday and then stop in the Freak's area with 2 games vs Akron Sat and Sun. I'm planning on going to both games.

BG now 15-20, 12-3 MAC.

Nice job, Falcons! Who'da thunk that, after an 0-16 start to the season, we'd head into the final weekend with a shot at a division title. At worst, BG has clinched a #3 seed for next week's MAC Tournament, and I think this team is set up very well for success in tournament play.
