BC is his alma mater. Add in the pay raise and it was an easy choice for him.

I also think it had a lot to do with needing a change of scenery. There were just too many memories of Terry Flanagan here. I think Terry's illness and death was very hard on him.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Jerry never hid his desire to one day Coach at BC from Day 1. It was his dream, he as mentioned played there and all his family are from the east coast.
We are fortunate to have the coaches we have now, who apply the same style. it is effective and now with the right players it will only become more evident.

Jerry York, now thats a head coach.

Scott Paluch could't even shine his shoes. You should't even mention Paluchs name in the same sentence.

You are somewhat right MACMAN. We do not have the right coaches, however we do have the right coach.

TODD RIERDEN should be the head coach, the people that know what really goes on with this team all know that Rierden ran the show this year. Paluch should go back to BC and be an assistant coach because that is all he is good for. Actually he should step down and let Rierden take over and see if he will let him be the Assistant coach. He most likely won't because he knows he has the smarts of a 5th grader. There is not a whole lot of substance when it comes to Paluch.

I would like to hear Dannyk's take on this?????????????????????????

Considering you played for all three coaches you mentioned, I'll take your word for it

Come on pdt, how could you not take his word. There's nothing that says credibility like 25 question marks.

Why wouldn't you? Pooch played for York for four years and was one of his assistant coaches for eight years at BC.
