$45,000 should work, don't you think? 45K guaranteed, with bonuses for performance. You know, if certain things rank well nationally, then he/she gets and extra $10.
You're kidding, right? Ribeau's annual salary here was $286,443. University presidents make a lot of dough. But Howard had to have made a great offer to him. It seems to me that that school is a good fit for him, though. Thanks for all you've done, Dr. Ribeau!
Did you really think that post was serious? Hell, if I get to be a professor like I plan on, I'll be making more than that. But, part of that post was truthful, and it actually should be built into any contract: performance incentives.

Ribeau has done some good stuff during his time, but he has also been a pain to deal with for many within the university. The guy lays a heavy hand and often gets caught up in tunnel vision.

If it's the Board of Trustees that pick the next president, then we have two B!G sports supporters on it! Bob Sebo and Fran Voll!! I hope they go out of their way to find out how dedicated the new prez will be to Falcon sports!! :-D

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I believe it's the state board of regents, not the BGSU Board of Trustees...

That would be a change from when Ribeau got his job. I think the BOR has to approve things, but they tends to be a rubber stamp of the local control.

I think this whole thing is a sham. Dr. Ribeau will once again be managing the Toronto Blue Jays.
