I think UT is going to become a sattelite to Owens within the next 15 years.
The sad thing of it is, Owens' academic reputation will be hurt by the transaction

But if the course is taught at UT Scott Park Campus, it is a UT course. Why would you not allow students to transfer the course onto main campus? That was the problem. A grade of 'D' in a course taught at the second campus should still be a grade of 'D' on the main campus. They were not transferring from different universities.

I've got a secretary that has an AA in Accounting from UT Scott Park. Yet, she needs four more years at UT to get her BS in Accounting. WHY? Why won't they honor their own courses?

...because we do not reward mediocrity. The amount of time it takes someone to complete their degree is dependant upon how hard they want to work. A "D" is crap whether it is on your main campus or not. I guess you have given us a little more insight into why your education is not worth the paper on which it is printed.

BGSU does not accept anyone who applies and has a diploma. Get your facts straight. If a student comes in with a 2.0 GPA diploma with a 10 on their ACT, BG will not accept them. Whereas at Toledo, the door is wide open as long as they got room. Do you want to compare drop-out rates as well?
