I was hoping to hear Gladieux and new concessions company had been named.

That would be awesome. Those gladieux concessions are TERRIBLE. Popcorn & Pretzels are always very stale and double to triple what we paid in seasons past.

Yes, this forum has been refreshingly dull in the springtime. Nobody leaving. No scholarship vacancies going into the summer. Aaaahhhh!

Yea, the Hoops forum has been dull this offseason. However, with everything that's happened over the past few years, I say....NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!

BTW, how many days until practice officially opens? I think we're in for a good year as Coach and his staff continue to put their stamp on the program. I'm looking forward to getting to more games this season.

Rick Palmer is no longer listed on the roster as Director of Basketball Operations and a new name was listed as the basketball office contact for the summer basketball camp. The DBO job is transitory by nature, so it's nothing to sound the alarm over if there is someone new.

No doubt it's refreshing!!! It's like I said in another post about two months ago....if we return everyone next season, it's THE story of the year IMO for men's hoops. The win over Top-25 Kent State was great, beating Cincinnati was nice and showing signs of progress as promising. But after what we've seen happen with all the defections, transfers, etc. over the past five years or so, it would be some of the best news we've had in years. While we're not in clear yet, I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am thinking about possibly not having to rebuild for the first time in what seems like forever.

it was announced at the banquet that he would not be returning. He is going to work for his father who owns a construction company or something.

Now is that a "Construction Company" or a real construction company? I say he's in the mob...
