The NIU game was in the final, I am almost sure. That Rayhorn put back broke my heart.

Thank God for Womens sportsL like at Purdue: because BG women may have a chance here in the next two years... but if Dapper Dan can't get mens BBall back to the Sweet NCAA 66.. and do some DAMAGE in the tourney like Ball State Sweet 16....

I saw numerous BG teams with two NBA players on them lose to lesser mortals in wildcard playoff games for NCAA berths and home court wasted against a mediocre but very TALL OU team and losing at home to the eventual champ NIU who we also swept twice like OU in regular season and losing to UT after splitting with them in two oh so close games only to lay an egg in the Mac Final at Crysler Arena and on and on buzzer beaters fouling out our best scorers missing free throws to clinch etc ad infinitum ... no wonder media types are skeptical about our chances and SO WHAT:
the sweet thing will be when we finally win our first ever MAC tourney and enter the NCAA ... the upsets that will ensue in that tourney (hopefully) will be SWEET ICING ON THE CAKE and even if we get stuck against a number one seed like Duke or UConn our players will give it all they have got. And that is all I ask 100% effort scab burns type plan all the time let the chips fall where they may because not facilities not tradition not fans win games but BASKETBALL PLAYERS WIN games.

I actually think BGSU will get into the NCAA at least three times in the next 30 years..., because if WVA actually had got Dapper Dan and we lost him well then... we could all sing many chorsus of "Born Under a Bad Sign" (check out lyrics search to see really bad luck. GO FALCONS

No...I was the bald headed guy sitting second row courtside at last night's women's game. I'm easy to spot usually because I'm with either a nice looking blonde who's way out of my league or a cute little blonde girl or both.

You should definitely say hi though. It's always a trip to meet people form the site

I was referring to the football game last week. I could have sworn it was you based on the picture you posted of you and your daughter once. Unless I am all mixed up which may be the case.

I'm pretty sure it was the semis. The reason I say that is I had to sit by a Ball State fan who must have weighed 300 lbs for the other game. Those Ann Arbor seats were not made for that close of a comfort.

But maybe I was thinking of David Allen Grier of every bad TV situation comedy made in the past several years. He could really run the court and sky.

Nope that wasn't me...I'm a little distressed to hear that someone is copying my look though. I have been told that my doppleganger exists somewhere in Rossford, but I've yet to set out to eliminate him...

I was at the final played against Toledo at Crisler Arena. My memory is kind of foggy but I seem to remember the game was fairly close throughout with Toledo pulling away at the end to win by about 10. BG had Miday, Miller and a pretty decent freshman class(Irish, Jenkins, Greer) while Toledo had Swaney and Joplin, among others. I think that was the same year Toledo upset Iowa in the NCAA tourney.

Close...it was the year after. I htink the Rockettes got bounced in the first round by one of the Florida schools that year.
