Any word out there on our birdz getting another house call from College Gameday Live!? That would've been great for a Big 11 in our house for the first time! Good media coverage! Great rematch too! That will most definitely fill the house! We need to bring more BCS teams to the Doyt! I feel it coming in our future!

The only reason they came to BG v. NIU is because it was just about the only two top 25 teams playing each other that week.

Isn't that the same week as Michigan/Notre Dame.

Even though they'll both suck this year, it's still a bigger draw than us.

No, Miami(OH) plays at Michigan that week which is still a more appealing game than us against Minnesota. It's also the same week as Ohio and Ohio State. There really isn't much for big games that weekend, the game they'll be at is Miami at Florida. It's by far the most appealing game nationally that day and it's in primetime. Michigan and Notre Dame is the following weekend but so is Ohio State and USC, so I think it's pretty obvious which one will win out there.

If Minnesota finished pretty well in the Big 10 and not dead last and if we won the MAC and if the planets lined up right and a black hole appeared on the planet and the only safe haven was in Bowling Green, OH, then maybe we'd get the College Game Day crew. Even then, odds would still be against us. If the MAC comes up with another great year like 2003, then maybe a MAC school will again get Game Day there, but I don't see that happening again anytime soon.

Hey the planet I'm on is Earth and REALITY can only start from dreaming. So guess what! I'm gonna keep dreaming! They came here once and it can happen again no matter what other top 25 teams are playing. If my mem serves me correctly, they came to the Doyt when other top 25 teams were playing. Unless for some reason NO TOP 25 TEAMS PLAYED THAT WEEKEND!

Yes, there were other top 25 teams playing, just none of them playing each other besides BG and NIU. The problem is that neither Minnesota or BG are going to be anywhere near being in the top 25 in week 2. You can't honestly think there would be any shot they would choose to come to our game over the Hurricanes and the Gators let alone about 20 other games they'd probably choose before ours.
