Wouldn't it be sweet if somebody gave Keira Knightley a meal?
Yeah, no kidding. She's hot...if you like the kind you can pick up with 2 fingers. Honestly, give me some chick that plays volleyball or softball anyday.

Unless for some reason NO TOP 25 TEAMS PLAYED THAT WEEKEND!
Your "mem" has failed you. There was no other top 25 v. top 25 game that weekend. There were a lot of OSU v. Indiana or USC v. Stanford type of games. NIU @ BG was the only logical choice. It was a luck of the draw one time in your lifetime event for BG.

god it makes me wanna puke to say this but i agree with teck  . the only reason we got gameday was a grace of god timing. it was the first time 2 mac teams had been ranked in the top 25 at the same time and both teams were coming great national exposure with niu beating maryland and alabama and us beating purdue and a near miss with osu. also another great timing was that it was family weekend, my dad had to stay at the holiday inn in perrysburg cuz bg hotels were full

While I'm a big fan of volleyball and the women that play it, let's not totally discount softball ...

Jennie Finch, who's husband Casey Daigle plays for the Rochester Red Wings.

I've been going to games hoping to spot her. . .

Aliright, alright! You've convinced me and I was trying every excuse in the book, but I was in denial! It was a great moment for us though, you have to admit! Like I said before, there's nothing wrong with a little dreaming!

There are a few exceptions for softball but the majority is not so good.

Wrong (not surprisingly). Auburn at LSU. I remember Tuberville making some stupid remark about Gameday going to BG instead of Baton Rouge.

Yup. About a minute and a half of research via google and ...

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=232980099
(#9 LSU, #21 Auburn)

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=232980130
(#13 Michigan, #10 Purdue)

And all games played that week ... unfortunately with season ending rankings, not rankings at the time, so you need to check the story itself to see that ...

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/schedules ... groupId=80

Looks like Tek doesn't know what he's talking about ... what a shock!

lol

1. I wasn't the only one who said it.

2. you are a fool for going out of your way to waste your time to do research when you know that I don't care what I say. You didn't know it either. It took you 3 or 4 days and you had to look it up.

What I did know is that Purdue already had one loss and that was an unattractive game. They were heavy underdogs anyways.

Auburn was only ranked 21 and they were 5-3 or maybe 5-2. Again, not very attractive like a top 25 game with two undefeated teams. The UM v. Purdue game would have been more attractive then LSU v Auburn.

It was the only logical choice. Will never happen again.
