1. I wasn't the only one who said it.
2. you are a fool for going out of your way to waste your time to do research when you know that I don't care what I say. You didn't know it either. It took you 3 or 4 days and you had to look it up. [quote]
Its OK to say it, Tiki. Go ahead-just try it- "Ooops, my bad, I was wrong". Its not that hard. Once more- just say"oops, my bad, I was wrong". There- doesn't that feel better? I would think you'd be used to it. lol

Two thoughts.. one thing that might have sealed the deal for us was that the only other major game on that particular week, gameday had already gone to that city that season.MarkL wrote:Yup. Unless for some reason NO TOP 25 TEAMS PLAYED THAT WEEKEND!

(#9 LSU, #21 Auburn)

(#13 Michigan, #10 Purdue)
And all games played that week ... unfortunately with season ending rankings, not rankings at the time, so you need to check the story itself to see that ...

Looks like Tek doesn't know what he's talking about ... what a shock!
Second thought.. Purdue really made it back up to 10th that season? That doesn't seem possible in the BCS. They started the year 18th and lost their home opener to BG.

ya after they lost to us, purdue went on to have a heck of a year. i do believe that they did finish right around 10th that year, also the loss to us didnt hurt them one bit, but prolly helped them in the bcs for strength of schedule. afterall, in 04' we were supposed to play auburn instead of oaklahoma and many believe we were the reason that ou got the bid for the national championship over auburn because of SOG because we were ranked again that year and to replace us auburn ended up playing a 1-aa school i believe.

For someone like you, adopting an "I don't care what I say" and, presumably, an "I don't care what I write" attitude is probably the best.tekekini wrote:lol

What I did know is that Purdue already had one loss and that was an unattractive game. They were heavy underdogs anyways.
Auburn was only ranked 21 and they were 5-3 or maybe 5-2. Again, not very attractive like a top 25 game with two undefeated teams. The UM v. Purdue game would have been more attractive then LSU v Auburn.
It was the only logical choice. Will never happen again.
By the way, (2) doesn't apply to me because I didn't need to research the Auburn - LSU game.
EDIT: Since I don't know you, I should have written "for someone who posts like you do" instead of "for someone like you".
