BGSU Fight Song

Am I just dabbling in too much BGSU dream land or does our Band's FORWARD FALCONS sound very similar or exactly like the intro song EA Sports used in the 2006 or maybe 2007 College football game? I've always had that in the back of my mind whenever I played it, but always thought, "Naw, can't be our fight song".

I'd think with the EA football junkies we have on here, someone might have picked up on it they WERE using Forward Falcons as the intro. As it is, I think it's got a pretty "traditional" college fight song sound to it, so it might just be some subtle similarities tricking your ears.

Then again, I don't think I"ve owned a college FB video game in five years, so I might not be the best judge of that.

I haven't played the game since last fall, but I'm pretty sure you can select your favorite team, and that team's fight song will play on the title menu. So yeah, BG's fight song might be playing for you.

Yes you can select your favorite team and it will play that schools fight song everytime you start the game uo or on the main menu screen.

I think they are auto set regionally to what they think you may want..If you buy it in Columbus, Ohio state is automatically your favorite team unil you change it. If you buy it at Walmart in BG it may be set to BGSU automatcally...Toledo set to UT..etc.

You probably set BG as your favorite when you first got it and forgot.

Last time I looked, BG owned Toledo about 37-10, so I imagine if you buy the game in Toledo, it should be set to BG.

When you boot up the game it defaults to last season's BCS Champion being the "favorite team." Regional versions of the game would be extremely expensive to produce.
