Personally, I loved watching Brandon Pardon play. My wife just liked looking at him. She thought he was cute.
Bill wasn't a math major? Looks like hisstating five is seven players deep. Reminds me of Greg Kampe playing as the sixth man on the floor for about two minutes one year and the refs never caught on.

Also, that Cash Piatkowski was pretty good but I think Cornelius Walt was his equal. Otherwise not a bad list. I didn't realize Bianchi was from BG. He had a pretty good career- hard to argue against a guy who spent a decade in the NBA.

You Toledo people have to always find something wrong, don't you? :-) Don't blame Bill for my typing. Besides, he just rattled off the names because it is too hard to pick five.

It's Charlie Share, not Sheer! I would include he and Al Bianchi also!
I never saw either play, but sure heard alot about them, shortly thereafter when I started watching Darrow et al.

It's Thurmond. No excuses for a BG fan to not spell it correctly for the greatest player in BG history even if you weren't born yet.
Sorry for the spelling. You're right, no excuses here.

By the way...I was a todler when Big Nate was playing for BG and my love for the Falcons started in the early 70's with the likes of Mike Miday, Cornelius Cash, Greg Kampe (my basketball camp conselor), Rose Barnes and others.

I never got a chance to see McLeod or Daniels play for BG, but judging on what they have accomplished in the NBA, they'd have to be there. Nate Thurmond would have excelled in any era -- he took the game seriously and was a physical marvel.
Cornelius "June" Cash was a tough rebounder and defensive player, but his lack of an outside game, plus some injuries, kept him from accomplishing much in the NBA. (I'd nominate his teammate from that era, Jeff Montgomery, for honorable mention. He had a great senior season, but probably wouldn't be among the best four gaurds ever to play for BG. Komives had a decent NBA career (I think he averaged double-figures for close to 10 years). Walt Piatkowski could really shoot. I would have liked to see some of the better players from the '80s and '90s play -- but it's hard to watch BG games from Wisconsin (ironically, at some point in the 90s, a BG NIT team played a 1st round game in Madison -- and I was in Ohio due to a prior commitment on game day.
