MAC unveils new logos & marks

There's more, too. Every school has it's own school color version according to a press cd I received a few weeks ago.

Um, are we back to the '70s? Yeah, the logo doesn't do much for me....

Interesting that you would suggest using the graphics students...didn't they design the new BG logo that is despised by so many on this board!?

Nope that was designed by an outside consulting firm to help make the logo more friendly for young fans.

Speaking of re-branding...isn't it time for AZZ to get a facelift to the current logos, etc? Might be a little confusing to outside visitors in its current form.

I think the AZZ re-design has been discussed in the past. Frankly, most people liked the old Falcon so that's what the Lord of A-Z-Z stuck with.

Of course this is much better than the old design:

It is quite fine how it is.

Stay the hell away from that ridiculous new logo, and let us old farts bask in the one place that still utilizes the real logo.

I love the new logo. Simple, clean, and classy.

I may have chosen another color besides green. I may have gone for a gray with a dark red highlight for some edge but not too much drama.

This will look great on a field, court, or uniform.

For those knocking it as a MLS logo, you know soccer is one of the successful programs of the conference now, right? See: Akron.

Woh dude, I didn't say I was a fan of the new logo. However, since we seem to get a lot of outside visitors it might be confusing for them to see logos that don't match what our teams are using on the field.

And no one said we're incorporating the new logos... they're registered trademarks anyhow.
