I ran into Hardwick in town a couple weeks ago. He was trying to transfer out of BG so he wasn't going to be a starter anyways.
Yeah right girl!

vwfalcon wrote:what kills me about this situation is the fact that I met Barrow's parents last year up in Minnesota before the "upset" and after meeting them I never would of imagined he would be inclined to do something of this nature. I can tell you one thing though, I think this will cause the boys up front on the DL to work that much harder now that there is a starting position available. I also think that people on here and around campus talking about how "bad" the DL will be this season due to these things may work as motivation for them. You know how bad people like to prove people wrong when someone says "you can't do it." Don't condem this season before it even begins. We are capable of having a great season.
I don't think anybody is condemning the season. Actually, I think these arrests will have little to no effect on how this season will play out.

Hardwick pleads not guilty.

Interesting that the story now reads as "a third FORMER player". So, question would be is it someone who already graduated (Hargrove?) or someone else has been dismissed?

It says he was a member at the time but has since been kicked off. Give them this much credit- even in their troubled times they're wearing orange. :-D

It's crazy to hear this about Hardwick. He lived down the hall from me in Rodgers during the 06-07 school year and he def. seemed like a really nice kid. Him and I randomly met and he just struck up conversation with me and we talked for awhile, he told me where he was from Virginia and how he was here for football, he was a really friendly kid. I even gave him money once to get his girlfriend's car back after it got towed. Even last year he always said something to me if I saw him on campus. Hopefully this works out for the best for him.
