I wouldn't go that far. I think a lot of people in newspaper are just intimidated by fans and their ability to get information just as fast as they can now. Which in most cases isn't possible, but it still pisses them off.

He's trying to take a shot at the credibility of all people on message boards and that's where he comes off as a dolt. This message board is a great example of a place where fans just talk and have fun. I don't see how this could be considered a bad place like he's talking about.
