Whats all bad with Musberger? I always thought he was okay. Not on my all-time favorites list by any stretch but not bad.

This proves there is a God that roots for mid-majors.

My favorite Billy Packer stories...

1. Packer does commercials for Mr. Cash (payday lender) down in the Carolinas. A certain radio entertainer (John-Boy from the "John-Boy and Billy Show") sees Packer out in Charlotte at some function and yells across the hall "Hey Mr. Cash!" Packer evidently went nuts.

2. We were at The Rathskelter on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill. We were enjoying the cheesiest lasagna you ever tasted. Packer was in the place talking to a couple of UNC and Duke basketball players. A few UNC students were walking out and one student yelled out "HEY! There's Billy Packer" and the others muttered "Who cares" and they left.

Here's hoping Tim McCarver joins Packer.
