Who do you think is ready to break out and put up unprecedented impressive stats this season (like Kevin Schmidt last year)?

McIlrath.
He played all last season with tons of speed and determination. Every time he was on the ice it seemed as if the tempo of the game was turned up a notch. it was not untill late in the last few games where he started finding the back of the net. AS important as that is, i think have to think as long as he plays the same way it will be a big a help, but I do think he will be finding the back of the net and making some more key passes that result in stats this season.

I voted Svendsen. I'm not the most knowledgeable hockey person around here, but since I first noticed him in the O&B game a couple years ago I've been feeling like he could break out for a huge season. Obviously it hasn't happened (not on a large scale), but I feel like he has the speed and confidence to make things happen.

I'd vote for McIlrath, but then again, he'd actually have to be in the lineup to have a breakout season. Todd is the type of player that you love to root for...gives 110% every time he's out there, he's gritty and determined. Now, if our coaching staff would realize that this type of player is HELPFUL, not harmful to our team and give him some more ice time, then we'd see him have a breakout year...I was also told that Cameron Sinclair was going to be a true stud for this team. I believe the quote was that he was capable of scoring 40 points on the season...but as far as I know, he hasn't seen much, if any ice time...anyone want to chime in as to why? Was this person who gave the 40 point plateau completely offbase? I don't think so, given that this person has all of the credentials to know what makes a good hockey player. Of course, if this person and I are both interested in seeing a kid on the ice, it'll never happen...we have different philosophies than the coach.GO FALCONS!
I think the Svendsen has a very good chance really add to his goal total this year. He just needs to keep shooting the puck. I also would like to see Dee pick up his offensive production a little bit. He does great things all over the ice that don't get noticed, I think that he could be 15 point guy by the end of the year if he clicks a little offensively.
One of, if not, our best defensive forward last year. Definitely should see some more ice time.TheKa wrote:I'd vote for McIlrath, but then again, he'd actually have to be in the lineup to have a breakout season.
