Womens bball PA announcer

Not sure if anyone has disscussed this yet but the PA announcer for the womens bball team puts the guy doing the football games to shame, his energy level is 1000000 times better, not sure if he will be doing the mens games aswell I was out of town for the first two games. He or Brady would be a great improvement at the Doyt next year.

I think any announcer tops the football announcer. I will agree though that the guy doing the ladies games has done a great job these first 2 home games. Even with crappy attendance (this is normal for the ladies though it seems), he still appears energetic and makes the calling interesting. I think Brady would be the best choice for football next year though

ditto........and I heard a few people from the athletic department say that they really like the women's basketball announcer also!!

he's pretty good. he did the women's games last year, too. MUCH better than the dude that does the men's games. he only seems to know how to inflect his voice one way. plus, his voice isn't deep enough to carry thoughout AA on the lackluster sound system.
obviously better than the football dude, but still not brady.

I believe that may be a student named Greg Gania. He also does the play by play for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
