We had a group of us go to Sky Bar to watch the Toledo game, and it owrked out really well, as they aren't normally open on Tuesday night.
I bet you could contact either Sky Bar or Ziggy's (Bob Everhart) and get it set up. You could even use the patio at Ziggy's as it is heated, is enclosed and has four TV's.

I'll go where there is a crowd, but I'd rather be at a house. More friendly, less cost. I'd even bring my share of the food.

Heck if somebody would take my families three cats, I'd host the darned event.

I'd rather go to a bar...people's houses always smell funny.

I think we might end up with too many people for someone's home. I'd hate to have to break things...

I know Ziggy's is advertising on their sign board about "Rent our heated patio ..." Don't have any idea how much it would be but that sounds like a great place to do this. :D

Only 2 downsides of that patio.

A) no big screen, although there are multiple smaller TVs

B) You cannot see Heidi from out there :(

ziggy's deck is free

Post by BGFalcons232 »

it's on their TV commercial that the deck is free for party rentals. so it's more of a "i called it first" type of thing.

however, i would think you would have to do it soon as many other groups may have the same idea.

I drove by there this morning and also noticed that the sign board says the patio rental is free. Maybe we could strike a deal with them to move a big screen TV in there and have this Heidi girl that Hammb mentioned be our personal waitress. :D

Just tried to call and the phone rang and rang. Maybe 10 AM is too early for a college bar, huh? ;-)
