I know these are not all off the former MAC players now in the NBA but here are a few of them for those who are intersted, and here are some of their stats:

Bonzi Wells #6 Memphis Grizzlies 13.0PPG 2.3APG 4.0RPG

Bowling Green
Antonio Daniels #33 Seattle Sonics 14.6PPG 4.7APG 2.6RPG
Keith McLeod #25 Utah Jazz 9.1PPG 4.8APG 1.9RPG

Central Michigan
Chris Kaman #35 LA Clippers 2.2PPG 2.8RPG .4BPG

Eastern Michigan:
Earl Boykins #11 Denver Nuggets 13.6PPG 4.1APG .9SPG

Kent State:
John Edwards #54 Indiana Pacers 1.0PPG .8RPG .3BPG

Marshall
Tamar Slay #32 Charlotte B'Cats 3.3PPG 2.5RPG 1.5 TO

Miami
Wally Szczerbiak #10 Minnesota TWolves 14.0PPG 3.5RPG 1.7APG

Ohio
Brandon Hunter #56 Orlando Magic 3.7PPG 1.0RPG 0.0BPG

Could not find any information on Gary Trent. Anyone know if he is still playing.

Also, some schools I dont think have any players in the NBA, those schools are:

Akron, Buffalo, Toledo, Western Michigan.

Looks like Daniels is leading all scorers, barely over Wally, Bonzi and Earl but could change over the next few days.

Ouch. Is that still considered the NBA?

Caught a show at the Second City while in Chicago for the DePaul game. They were ripping on the Bulls. :-) Saw a billboard off one of the expressways that had the Bulls' logo on it and the words "Through Thick and Thin." Things are obviously very thin right now.

Gary Trent is NOT playing anywhere in the NBA, CBA, or NBADL.

October 28, 2004 Waived forward Gary Trent and center Cezary Trybanski.

October 6, 2004 Announced the retirement of forward Scottie Pippen; signed forward Gary Trent, who had been with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He was on the Chicago bulls for 3 weeks but then got waived and is no where to be seen.

There has been some talk here in Indy that the Pacers were looking at signing Trent after the suspensions and injuries that they have had. Obviously, that has not happened at this point and doesn't look like it will.
GO BG! Omar for '05 Heisman!

Ira Newble - Miami

Post by Hdog »

Cleveland Cavaliers Ira Newble 4.2 ppg; 2.5 rpg

Anybody see him play against BG while at Miami? He doesn't seem like anything special. He is starting for the Cavs at the 2. Seems to be a good defensive guy who hustles. Did he ever score in the MAC?

Ira Newble SUCKS. He plays okay defense, but he is the lowest of the low points for the Cavs this year :( Oh how I wish they'd let Luke Jackson play and put Newble on the bench.

hammb,

I second that. I think Silas will have Luke Jackson in the starting line up by the end of the year.

Newble seems to have little or no offense.

Smith has been in the league, but is currently injured. Originally, he signed a 2 year guaranteed contract. Not bad.
