Do parents typically stick around and have dinner with their children on Frosh move-in or just leave and let them get settled?

Thanks in advance...
Our daughter will move into Batchelder music community on 8/23/08, and I AM looking forward to it. We plan to move her in, then go act like freshmen without her.

I just gotta say that the move in went very smooth and quick. No hassles with parking, carts, sign in, or anything. It helped that we were there at 8:15 am (scheduled time for out of staters). I was impressed with the organization of it all. Can't wait to "visit" on Sept 6th.
