If you like genital shrinking weather, Rapid City is where you want to be in the winter.

He did a good job and I think...well I always appreciated that he seemingly made a point in this last season and the later part of the previous to announce the score and time left in the what period with some better frequency.
Best of luck to him..I sure hope we a good replacement, its going to be a good season and we have a strong schedule's..last thing we need is to tune in and not hear the score or the time left or what period it is, because some one cant find the names to go with the numbers on the roster.

Good luck, Danny.

I'd imagine that Bob Mills (another BGRSO member) will probably take over. Bob was Danny's partner for the playoffs.

I wouldn't be against doing it, played the game, coached the game, my radio skills aren't professional but I can relay what's going on rather efficiently!

Good Luck to Danny! I thought he did an excellent job of calling the game! I would often have the radio on at the games and his calls were right on with the fast paced action I was watching! He should have a good career in this business!!

Good Luck Danny, you'll be missed!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I agree with the others -- I thought Danny did a very nice job, and I wish him the best of luck.

With what (I'm guessing) the job pays, I imaging it'll be difficult to attract a pool of veteran announcer candidates. Probably will have to be someone who is right out of school.
