BG could be playing exhibition games in Windsor

I came across a link on the University of Windsor site that said Windsor would be playing Bowling Green on August 30, 2008 in Windsor, ON ( http://web2.uwindsor.ca/wsgcms/Projects ... filter1=12 ). After looking back at last year for more information, it appears Virginia Tech played in a few games up there last year ( http://www.hokiesports.com/mbasketball/ ... 01aaa.html ) so I am guessing BG could be participating in the event this season as well.

I don't think 1:00p.m. is too early.

It is some sort of exhibition. Windsor is playing a day night double header that day.

Most schools take international trips every 4 years to play games. I know several teams go to Canada each year to play as a team, but that is early summer and certainly before school starts. Seems strange there would be an exhibition game in Aug.

After seeing the schedule does BG get a game against S. Illinois? Seems pointless to go up there and only play 1 game against Windsor.

Yeah, the schedule has changed and BG is no longer on it. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
