It seems that last Tulsa loss has soured a lot of people. I'm telling ya Minny is no guarantee of a sellout whatsoever. Win big at Pitt and maybe maybe we'll fill 85% of the Doyt, and that might be asking too much sadly.
That is a big leap to take after reading a students blog.
I kind of wonder if this was a blog about how excited people are for the season, and how the Doyt is going to sell out, would people still be ripping on the grammar and spelling?

Yes, because in our society it is always fun to put other people down to make yourself feel better.

Something written THAT poorly from journalism students (or at least representatives of the school paper?) Yeah, I probably would.
However in this instance, it was either point out the grammar or bash falconboy. I figured I'd change the pace a bit.

It's good to hear that they are going out and getting themselves seen to promote the season. I'm sure there will be a large contingent of students at the Minn. game, and hopefully the townies will follow suite.
I tried to help spread the word here in NW Ohio as I have a weekly sports column at my hometown paper in Van Wert, and wrote about the BG vs. Minnesota game. It's not much but maybe slightly interesting to some.

And it was a much more enjoyable, way less painful read. Some of the coverage those guys have done is good stuff, that one was just a little eye-gouging.

Eh, at least the guy has a sense of humor. His report was pretty cool. Toledo Tom is making some BiG statements. I would put BG and Miami right there with CMU and Ball State. The West is better at the moment, top to bottom, but not by much.
