Alex Bayer video. He looks like a keeper. Wonder where he will play for us? In this brief video he plays both out of the backfield and split out as well as his traditional spot.
Commitments?

Thanks again Globe for all the video and stuff, I fall behind on fball recruiting sometimes because of the sheer volume of it.

Jarius Campbell Video. He looks dominant. Not sure what level they play at but he certainly stands out.

Reminds me of Briggs a bit. I'm certain Coach Ward will instruct him on not tackling so high, though.Globetrotter wrote:Jarius Campbell Video. He looks dominant. Not sure what level they play at but he certainly stands out.

Detroit News had an article on Thomas Gordon in today's recruiting column that in my opinion should be relabeled "UofM Recruiting and Once in A Great While Some Other Schools" But that's my bias. Gordon evidently is moving up the charts fast and has offers from all MAC schools except Miami. He is expected to draw much more interest from the Big 11 and others soon as a CB. He indicated he will not commit until after the season. Just from the tone of the article, it sounded like he was looking for big time programs. And the article still had the UofM flavor as his HS coach is former Wolverine Thomas Wilcher.Globetrotter wrote:Globetrotter wrote:I would assume guys offered by a Big ten team or a South Carolina or Stanford are not coming here...although that assumption and those offers are not necessarily accurate. I attended a graduation party yesterday and one of the football coaches for Allan Freeman RB/CB Wayne Memorial High School, Wayne, MI was there. Allan is listed on Rivals and or Scout as being interested in BG. I think they show his hometown of Inkster, MI. Anyway, the coach said that Allan had attended a camp at BG and was offered and accepted. Seems like a pretty good source though the sites have not reflected this info.
I saw Allan and his brother ,who was a QB, play two seasons ago and they both were very fast and elusive. I believe the brother will be a freshman at Saginaw Valley State or one of those GLIAC schools.

FF, If this is true, it confirms something that I'd noted some weeks ago...BG seems to be recruiting Mich. harder than usual this year, with some kids having already "verballed" and many more "offered". Supposedly a good year for Mich. HS football according to one article I'd read.fredthefalcon wrote:I attended a graduation party yesterday and one of the football coaches for Allan Freeman RB/CB Wayne Memorial High School, Wayne, MI was there. Oddly enough, we seem have LEFT the "Fla. market"...wonder if the fact that we've had a couple of dropouts via grades etc. has anything to do with it...or have we lost a coach who had contacts in the area.
