While I do believe Urban tends to point out that BG is in the "have not" column more than is necessary I don't believe that was the case here. I read it as a slam on the media for not covering the success that offensive system had at "mid-major" schools, or simply declaring it a fad until is was successful at a high profile school like Florida.
I will always believe they way he left BG was a dick move by a childish person, who saw dollar signs, and could not stand up for what he had done. Nothing will change that. But he has, for whatever reason, donated financially to the department and that is a good thing. BG has moved on and in the grans scheme of things he should be nothing more than a paragraph in the history of our program.

But, she's the same age as me.SaxyIrishTenor wrote:Fortunately I don't think he was referring to you.Ineedbotox wrote:Ouch. I know it's true, but it definitely sucks to be referred to as an "elder"JoeFalcon wrote:That's actually my point! Did we not know that? Was it really necessary to point out? The fact he had to make a special point to mention what was already blindingly obvious is part of the reason I took it as a gratuitious dig. Anyway, learned elders of Falcon Nation have spoken and concluded that Urbie is absolved, and I begrudgingly respect their judgement and will cease and desist continued equine flogging.Ineedbotox wrote:Tebow just won the freaking Heisman. Obviously anything associated with Tebow and the offense at FL far surpasses anything Josh Harris ever did. Not a slam... just a fact.
Bleeding Orange: thanks for the story. If I hear a few more (thousand) of those I might change my opinion.

This is the image he was trying to display:

I would *hope* that was the picture he was trying to display. Otherwise, I'd say his daughter looks freakishly like Deion Sanders...
