Just watched this video for the first time. Seems like a perfect LB for us. Active, fast, a bit undersized (now anyway) unlike our recent defenders he looks like a fundamentally sound tackler.

He doesn't really look like he translates to the LB position in Div.1 college ball though. More like safety if he has enough speed other wise he's a waste. If he cant' take on a TE or fullback and not get knocked down on his butt what good is he as a LB?

You've got to assume that the kid will put on some muscle weight and that he will translate to BG's system as a linebacker very well.

I guess you if you mean BG's system of LB's that get mostly creamed by a TE or fullback every time we face even a halfway decent running game teams then yeah , he looks like he could fit just fine.

This kid will be a senior this year. He will definitely get bigger and stronger. If he doesn't play the position you think he should, then he is a waste? You can get all this information from a video clip, while the coaching staff has seen him live. That is pretty impressive.

I am quite sure the coaching staff knows just a little bit more than you do on recruiting.
