No problem. For AWAY games you listen to 88.1 FM.

For HOME games, you have your butt planted in the seats at Perry Stadium.
I think it is a very big problem if we don't have any reliable commercial station in our home market. I know that play by play is hard, and I respect the heck out of the 88.1 guys for trying it, but when I want to listen to our team I would prefer to listen to professional announcers. Of the list that was posted only 107.7 & 1230 are consistently receivable in BG and in year's past 1230 has not played every single game, they seem to have other agreements that supercede the BG one. If 107.7 is off the air for any amount of time they need to do something to get one of the other major stations in the market to air the games.

I'm sorry, but it is not excusable for the university campus to not be able to receive a high quality commercial broadcast of the games.

Fox Sports 1230 AM has a live stream...

Never mind , was able to play it via the IE Tab firefox 3 addon, but alas the Coaches Show is not on as Fox Sports is still running.

The same with the regular radio as well , Fox Sports is still running their sports talk show for some reason.

All I got was Chris Myers. It sounds kind of like a bag full of wind.

Yeah, I don't know what the heck is going. Its really sad if we still can't get our own Coaches Show on the air when its supposed to be on. I might expect problems like this at some podunk Div.III school but not a Div.1 university. This is embarrassing. :roll:

Toledo radio is pretty pathetic. They still employ Norm Wemer up there. Says a lot.

This sucks. All of us need to email Greg Christopher and complain that there is no station in BG to listen to away games. If he realizes how many people are upset about this, the Marketing Department might work hard to get one signed on!!!

I'm with hammb on this...no offense to the college station, but I want to listen to the announcers that are paid to call the game!!! grrrrr!!!!! :evil:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

2007 FALCON FOOTBALL RADIO NETWORK (assuming it's the same in 2008)

* WPFX-FM 107.7 -- Findlay
* WONW-AM 1280 -- Defiance
* WHKW/WHK-AM 1220/1420 -- Cleveland-Akron
* WCWA-AM 1230 -- Toledo
* WYTS-AM 1230 -- Columbus
* WZRX-FM 107.5 -- Lima
* WCSM-FM/AM 96.7/1350 -- Celina
Per this season's media guide you can add an FM station from Defiance(105.7) to the above list.

This is always a shot in the dark. Sometimes the games are on, sometimes not. I would think the Boise State game will be on TV and I know the WY game will be on the Mountain Conference Channel. Don't know about the NIU game yet.

Every other game? I'll call the action myself from the stands. :-D
