Back From Pittsburgh!

Post by FortWayneFalcon »

Two words. De fense!
And a couple comments:
I think I picked a good year to purchase my first season tickets!
Ya'll tailgaters and the traveling fans are a hell of an awsome group.
Sun burn still hurts.
I love BGSU!
The trip I made to Mobile last year made this trip to Pittsburgh one of the most satisfiying victories in my memory.
and that's random thoughts, by THE FWF

I love BGSU!

I just got back earlier this afternoon. While I didn't tailgate we did go to the Alumni associations pre-game 'pep-rally' on the boat before the game, great time.

I'm still trying to get my witts about me after being out in Oakland and on Forbes all night, it was great wearing a BG jersey and walking into places and people just shaking their heads! haha 8-)

Man, I still remember the royal nightmare of a sunburn that I got up in East Lansing last year...that sucked! But, I would have gladly suffered another one to have been there to see that victory in person. I'm glad you guys all had a great time, and you were all very impressive on TV. There is nothing - and I mean absolutely nothing - like hearing the "BG - SU!" chant in the background on TV. :)

Got back Sunday night after stopping at Pymatuning on the way home to throw bread to the carp.

Had a great time in Pittsburgh. Was at the game with my cousins from Pitt and a few of them had Pitt T-shirts on. When they asked the usher where section 103 was, the usher looked at them and said "You're not in 103? Are you sure, let me see your tickets."

Nice to see FalconFreak and couldn't ask for a better result.

Good seeing you as well, LB. Yeah, I have a sunburn like MSU last year but eh, it will fade. This was a blast and only an hour and 40 min drive home. Great way to start the season...time to go 2-0 vs the BCS.

My girlfriend lives in Jefferson and she took me there a couple weeks ago...pretty nifty little tourist attraction.

I see you liked the Church brew works - great place. Their home-brewed beer is very solid, especially the Dunkel. Some nice pics there!

Thank for the pictures. I could watch them over and over again.
My pictures did not turn out so good. The guy holding the camera was jumping around to much.

I wanted to get down to the tailgate, but my sister who came in from Baltimore didn't arrive until 10:45. We got to the stadium around 11:40. Maybe I should not drink before games, I was stone sober at the BG Purdue game as well. I also had a few when I rewatched the game last night and accidentally deleted the game ](*,) I am trying to find when U will replay, but the have replayed every game but BG Pitt. If anyone can can get a copy of the game, please let me know, I will give you my address.

ESPNU replayed the game at 6am this morning and will replay the BG/Minny game at midnight on Monday night. AFAIK, this is the only time they're replaying the Pitt game.
